Fluxametamide is a new isoxazoline pesticide that works by antagonizing insect ligand-gated chloride channels.
Molecular Weight : 474.26
Formula : C20H16Cl2F3N3O3
SMILESFC: (F)(C1(C2=CC(Cl)=CC(Cl)=C2)CC(C3=CC(C)=C(C(N/C=N/OC)=O)C=C3)=NO1)F
CAS: 928783-29-3
In contrast to its substantial effects on arthropod LGCCs, fluxametamide's antagonistic activity against rat GABACls and human glycine-gated chloride channels was negligible, indicating that fluxametamide has a strong target-site selectivity for arthropods over mammals. Overall, fluxametamide is a novel LGCC antagonist pesticide with outstanding target-site safety for animals.
